courses above with four weeks of directed work projects applying design
skills and techniques to community infrastructure. This is a unique
opportunity to anchor learning with action for self-reliant living.
Application with references is required by June 1st.

July 6-14 Permaculture Fundamentals Course - Permaculture is about
designing and living in a regenerative human culture. Learn principles,
strategies and techniques for reinhabiting your world. $600 This is the
basic course for understanding Permaculture Design. Learning format is
multi-modal with a high teacher/student ratio. Practical exercises,
demonstrations, audio-visuals, and discussion complement focused
presentations. Forty-four hours of instruction covers:

landscape and culture, this course together with Fundamentals completes
the requirements for the Permaculture Design Certificate. Presentations
by experienced designers introduce mentored small group design projects.

Systems - Cob, strawbale, slipstraw, earthen plasters, and timber frame
techniques being used in Earthaven's innovative buildings. Paul Caron,
