COURSE OUTLINE

ECOVILLAGE DESIGN COURSE (Module 1) November 4-8, 2002
The Ecovillage Design Course will provide a strong theoretical base for 
those interested in the design and development of ecologically designed 
settlements in rural or urban settings. The course will include eco-design 
principles and processes, project assessment and management, financing 
options, legal possibilities, working with Council, community building, 
skills required in starting such a project and bringing it to a positive 
and profitable conclusion, in-depth tours of Crystal Waters, international 
case studies and much more... Course fee: Module 1 AU$1025, Early bird 
special - register by August 31st and pay AU$975


ECOVILLAGE DESIGN PRACTICUM (Module 2) November 11-14, 2002

Module 2, the Ecovillage Design Practicum, is a hands-on design workshop 
including field work. This part of the course presents the opportunity for 
you to hone your observation skills and be involved in practical ecovillage 
design. Working in teams, those who attend this Ecovillage Design Practicum 
will be bringing together their own skills and those gained in Module 1 to 
design a project that involves many of the design techniques and principles 
learned during Module 1.

Course fee Module 2: AU$300   Please note: Module 1 is a prerequisite for 
Module 2
