         MUSHROOMS & PERMACULTURE WEEKEND WORKSHOP

(There's two versions of the PR for you to choose from, depending on amount
of space that you have available.)


SHORT VERSION:

Learn the basics of both Permaculture Gardening and Home Mushroom
Cultivation, in a weekend workshop to be held August 10 - 11, in Sonoma
County at the Permaculture gardens of Davis Bynum winery. Attendance is by
advance registration only. Weekend cost is $275. For more information, or to

LONG VERSION:

You can learn the basics of both Permaculture Gardening and Mushroom
Cultivation, in a weekend workshop to be held August 10 - 11, in Sonoma
County at the Permaculture gardens of Davis Bynum winery. This beautiful and
diverse working permaculture site, located atop a scenic hill in the Russian
River Valley, provides an excellent opportunity to learn the principals of
Permaculture, a whole system design process that leads to high yield food
and resource systems, as well as how to integrate the cultivation of
culinary and medicinal mushrooms into your garden, farm, or landscape.

Learn about functional planting strategies, rainwater harvesting, zone and
sector analysis, and soil building and bio-remediation. Also learn about
basic mushroom biology and ecology, home mushroom propagation techniques,
and the uses of mycorrhizal soil inoculants.
