alternative fuels workshops/teachin s including

20th: 4-30 pm peach harvest , work party, introduction to the farm and 
permaculture and hype for workshops, farm truck, veggie van parked on site, 
pot-luck dome discussion, hopefully music and beer.

21st: 4-30 pm veggie oil fuel introduction by cris gibson of greasecar,  an 
outline of workshop, dinner provided by food not bombs.

22: workshop all day at the farm on conversion of the farm truck to run on 
veggie oil and installation of the new tank. Discusssion in evening (5 
ish)of alternative transportation: electric vehicles, compressed methane 
gas, bikes etc. chai provided

23: 4-30 biodiesel introduction featuring the bio bus, dinner hosted by 
common vision. trasnesterification workshop-production of biodiesel for bus 
and truck.

Location: the pomona college organic farm

Directions: take the ten freeway east to exit 47, claremont. go north 
towards claremont. at the train tracks go right(east)past the village, 
continue past college avenue and the athletic fields. on your left will be 
a gate (corner of amherst, if you hit claremont boulevard you have gone too 
far) drive in the gate and park. walk back to the farm.

on campus directions: go to the sontag greek theatre and out the back of 
the right stone tower. follow the road south towards first street until you 
arrive at the farm. welcome home.
