                             Tuition: $780.00, includes lunch

                             This is a 72-hour permaculture certification 
course on campus and includes
                             lectures, demonstrations, hands-on work, field 
trips, and evening activities.
                             Permaculture is a design system and set of 
principles (care for the earth, care for
                             people, share the surplus) that integrates all 
the aspects of living sustainably on the
                             land.

                             Drawing on indigenous knowledge as well as 
contemporary innovations,
                             permaculture teaches pattern thinking and the 
principles for designing site-specific
                             environments, be they backyards, farms, or 
watersheds in rural or urban areas.
                             People all over the world use permaculture 
principles and methods to create
                             environments that work with nature while 
benefiting people and providing food,
                             energy, shelter and other material and 
non-material needs.

                             This course may be taken alone or as part of 
the new EcoVersity Certificate for
