2. 11/2 Sunday 2-6 pm. Buckminster Fuller Institute
presents an afternoon of ideas and networking at the
Southern California Institute of Architecture. $10-20

3. 11/8 Saturday 9-3 Work party at Seed Lady's with
George Patton.  Come prepared to work in the dirt and
hang out with some really cool kids. Suggested

5. 11/14-16 Agroforestry Workshop in Venice.  
Agro Forestry Workshop Nov.14th-16th

At the Learning Garden, Venice California

Agro forestry is a land stewardship technique of using

multistory trees, shrubs and 
annual crops within a confined area.  For thousands of

years ancient cultures 
produced their foods, medicines and other daily
necessities 
in agroforestry systems.   
Many of the wild jungles of today are actually
over-grown 
gardens of ancient peoples.  

Please join renowned agroforestry designer Dr. Bill
Roley 
as he gives a guided 
tour through this ancient wisdom and demonstrates its 
relevance in the modern world.  
Also teaching will be medicinal herb expert and author
of 
"In Search of The Medicine 
Buddha", Dr. David Crow, L.Ac. and Garden Master David
King 
from the Learning Garden 
Stephen Gates and the Living Systems crew will also be

helping out.

November 14th-16th: Friday night lecture 7pm-9pm on
