 The Dragon Oven Workshop Series

       brought to you by Ray Cirino of cobanation

 

                    Learn how to build a Rocket Stove 

                            and a mobile cob oven.

                             



 This will be more than "plain" cob oven —
but a mobile dragon. This earthen sculpture will be built on a trailer using sand, clay, straw, and water.

Let's take cob technology, permaculture demonstration & education on the road and make it fun as well as
artistic.

The workshop will be a 2 part series that will focus on rocket stove mechanics, basics of cob construction & finishing plasters.  We will utilize experiential based learning and development of hands-on techniques.

 

Basics of cob construction & rocket stove technology.

Workshop 1 – Saturday October 2, 2004 
10 am - 5 pm 

 

Sculptural details & earthen plaster.

Workshop 2 – Saturday October 9, 2004 
10 am - 5 pm
