South Coast Electronics Collection and Recycling Day
 
Your chance to get rid of your unwanted electronic equipment and also protect
the environment.  The City and County of Santa Barbara Public Works
Departments
are co-sponsoring a one day event to collect household electronic equipment
from area residents.
 
When: Sat Jan 22, 2005
            9am - 1pm
 
Location: Earl Warren Showgrounds
               3400 Calle Real
                Santa Barbara, CA
or
               
         Raytheon Parking Lot
         6380 Hollister Ave (corner of Robin Hill Rd)
        Goleta, CA 
 
Items accepted for a fee of $5 per load:
 
Computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, copy machines, turntables,
compact
and DVD players, speakers, video and audio cassette recorders, camcorders,
cameras, cell phones, radios, microwave ovens, toasters, vacuums, electric
typewriters, and electric shavers.
 
There will be a $12 charge per item for:
 
Computer monitors, laptop computers, and televisions.
 
NO washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, or
satellite dishes will be accepted.  NO electronic equipment or small
appliances
will be accepted from businesses.
