FREE SHEET MULCH:

Have a WOOL CARPET with fiber backing and the ALL FIBER UNDERPAD  
available for free to use as sheet mulch to suppress weeds and  
eventually break down into the garden.  The carpet is even a forest  
green color so you could pretend it is groundcover!  There doesn't  
appear to be any plastic whatsoever in either of them.  All organic!

You could cut them into smaller pieces to mulch pathways, or use in  
beds and cut holes in it them to plant into it....

I knew someone years ago who used old wool carpet to line the bottoms  
of ponds he built---he used  the carpet above the plastic to hide the  
plastic and protect it from sunlight.  Worked very well.
