This course will introduce you to the basic principles and applications of
Permaculture through multi sensory presentations, hands-on activities and
materials.

Hands-on activities include:
- Making seedballs for hard to plant areas
- Jar method of discovering soil properties
- Sand play: designing water storage in swales, ponds and dams, and managing
water flow
- Using levels to determine contour lines
- Trees in local settings
- Digging swales
- Innoculating covercrops and spreading them
- Co-housing village exploration on an 11 acre demo site
- Planting fruit trees and mushrooms
- Chickens
- Building community

Also, we'll have excellent slideshows and videos as part of the instruction.

- 20 yrs – Certified Permaculture Designer and Teacher
- 28 yrs - Passive Solar instructor
