NBC's 'GREEN IS UNIVERSAL' ECO FAIR

When: November 10, 2007 / 10am to 4pm
Where: Universal Studio's, Hollywood

The fair will be outside the park by the front gates & globe. The Eco-Fair
is suitable for the entire family and will be presented by a "Green Team" of
experts from over 20 organizations and the Environmental Media Association.

Activities and displays-many of them with "hands-on" interactive features-
will range from simulated tidepools to Segway Personal Transporters,
solar-powered blenders and eco-friendly popcorn poppers [Sports Utility
Bikes, Sun Ovens, Bike Blender and more]. Participating organizations will
include Heal the Bay, Southern California Edison, Hollywood Beautification
Team, Arbonne International, Global Green USA, LADWP, Baldwin Hills
Conservancy, Tree People, Window On Our Waters, Los Angeles Conservations
Corps and Path to Freedom. The Metro will test guests' Green knowledge in
the "Go Green, Go Metro" trivia game awarding exciting prizes and persons
arriving via Metro can exchange their ticket stub for a free recycled
carry-all bag.

::METRO INFO:

The Metro Red Line train from downtown or Hollywood stops at Universal City.
Across from the Metro station and Bus Stop is a Universal Studios shuttle
which provides complimentary service every 10 to 15 minutes to the front
gate of Universal Studios Hollywood. Shuttles continue for two hours after
the park closes. It's only a five to ten minute walk from the station to the
gate, but it's straight uphill and the sidewalk only goes part way, then you
have to walk on the street. But you don't have to worry too much about
missing the last shuttle in the evening, since it's all downhill on the way
back.
