A FOOD CHAIN RELEASE FROM METROFARM.COM

Six decades ago, farms began leaving the city for greener
pastures. Today they are returning. This leads us to ask: "Can
farms and cities prosper together?"

This Saturday at 9am Pacific, the Food Chain with Michael Olson hosts
Milwaukee's Grow Urban and New York City's Make Brooklyn Bloom farm
conferences for a conversation about the efficacy of metropolitan
agriculture.

Log on the Food Chain page at
<http://www.metrofarm.com/>www.metrofarm.com to listen on your radio,
computer or IPOD.
Topics include reasons why farms locate in or near a city; why cities
tolerate the growth of crops in their midst; and whether farms and
cities can indeed prosper together.
