Dear SBCC Community,

On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, the Scheinfeld Program for
Entrepreneurship & Innovation will be launching its inaugural event
of the "Enlightened Entrepreneurship Series." This series is
designed to bring business and entrepreneurship leaders to campus to
share their experience and story of enlightened business practices
and philosophies with our students.

The launch event, "A Conversation with Yvon Chouinard," will feature
a one hour Q & A with Mr. Chouinard, the founder and owner of
Patagonia (annual revenues of $230 million a year). Students will
have an unprecedented opportunity to ask Mr. Chouinard questions, and
he will also be available to sign his latest book, "Let My People Go
Surfing," an inspirational and compelling read.

The event will be held in the Fe Bland Forum (BC Building, West
Campus) at 6:30 p.m. with a reception following the Q & A in the
lobby of the BC Building. There is limited seating for this event and
it is first come, first served. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
