About the House: Charming 1927 stucco, w/ wood floors, organic food gardens,
street parking, TV-free home, broad-band internet, non-electric
refrigerator, simple, natural furnishings, one territorial cat, clean, neat,
someday will have chickens but not roosters. In Ventura, off the Avenue,
Close to West Park, Sheridan Way elementary school,  and the Bell Arts
Factory. Available now.

 

About Me: Environmental activist, community organizer, urban-homesteader,
vegan (except eggs), locavore, non-smoker, bicyclist, musician (guitar,
banjo, singer), earthen builder, seriously low carbon footprint (really low
utilities), spiritual practice (non-religious), web developer, like people
and sharing food, like alone time too, process/communication person, looking
for like-minded environmentalist to rent a room in my home.

 

About You: Sorry, no smoking, mammal or loud bird pets, booze, TV, or rec.
drugs. It's a cozy space, so neatness and kindness are so key.

 

Schedules: I work from home, but my office will be in the garage. I have
flexible hours, occasionally I get up at 4am to go rowing, occasionally I
stay up late working on a newsletter. I do yoga in the living room in the
morning. I have meetings and potlucks at the house a couple of times a week.
I am not loud. I don't play loud music. I don't mind people up early/late if
they're quiet so I can sleep.
