Did you know that discussions have begun to form a food co-op in the City of
Ventura? Would you love to be a part of creating it? We are calling our
second Ventura Food Co-op meeting this Sunday the 20th!

Sunday, September 20th
4– 5:30pm
Main Course California cafe
1363 Donlon St. #11, Ventura
Invite friends – pass it on.
RSVP to action at vccool.org so we can plan refreshments!

We’ll have reports about:
1.) Dates for field trips to the Isla Vista and Santa Monica co-ops
2.) Discussions with local farmers
3.) Research into possible locations

Topics of discussion could include:
Core goals of our co-op
What should we sell?
What kind of ownership/membership do we want?
How do we get the word out?
Who is really down?
