~ Associated Hands on Skill Building Workshops ~

1. Backyard Poultry and Homemade Cheese
Saturday, October 23, 8am into evening

We're offering a workshop with our farm managers, Brenton Kelly and Jan
Smith, in the basics of backyard poultry (egg laying and meat birds) and
beginning cheese making, with a little goat milking and animal husbandry
thrown in.
Saturday, October 23: 8am Light breakfast, Basic Backyard Poultry &
Butchering, Homegrown Lunch, Cheese Making, Gathering Fodder & Milking the
Goats, Cob Oven Dinner Feast w/ Intro to Cob Oven Cooking.  Sunday, October
24th:  8am Light Breakfast, 10am-3pm Quail Springs Farm Tour & Lunch

Cost: $150 per person including meals, camping nearby, plus Farm Tour Oct 24

2. Earthen Plaster Basics
Saturday, October 23, 8am into evening

Experience the joy & beauty of Earthen Plasters.  Learn the basics of
identifying material, mixing, and applying earthen plasters in this 1 day
introductory hands-on workshop with Paul Swenson.  (See more below.)
Saturday, Oct 23: 8am Light Breakfast, Earthen Plaster Basics, Lunch &
Dinner included.   Sunday, October 24th:  8am Simple Breakfast, 10am-3pm
