Next Santa Barbara Time Bank Potluck: Sun 6/26, 630 - 9. 1611 Olive , near Arrellaga, downtown. 

The first potluck party for the Time Bank went off well - we've got about 22 folks now, and activity is picking up.

This is an amazing concept that reinforces the community: it's all local, generates true wealth, encourages reciprocity, and as a time exchange, it's not taxable as barter. and it easily links us together and allows us to combine forces to make projects happen. 

Autumn Rooney, founder of the Echo Park Time Bank, will be there to Q&A, also Janine Christiano of Arroyo Time Bank - possibly additional LA timebankers as well. 

Other local celebrity honchos as well.. 

From 6 - 630 it'll be the "workshoppette", from 7 - 9 another free rolling potluck. BBQ and Wine provided by yours truly. Acoustic music very likely. 

Time Bank members get Time Dollars ( TD$ ) for attending. Everybody gets 2 time dollars for joining.
