Hi, my students are doing their final projects for AP Environmental Science.  As
part of their work (variety of topics including waste, energy, green
design, food production, politics, composting, etc.) they are to find someone
with expertise in their specific subject area and get support (ideal) or at
least just ask questions abou the ideas they plan to propose.

If you are willing to help out some eager, bright, young people please email me
with you preferred method of contact and the area of your expertise.   If you
can recommend someone who might be interested please send em my way!

Also students will be presenting their projects on 6/11 (all classes) and then
6/12-6/14 (two classes per day in the morning).  If you would like to come as a
guest we would LOVE to have you! Having expert guests makes the presentations a
lot better!  Please come, observe, ask questions, and enjoy!  Let me know as
soon as you are able so I can give your name to the front desk.

"There is one, and only one, solution, and we have almost no time to try it. We
must turn all our resources to repairing the natural world, and train all our
young people to help. They want to.
We need to give them this last chance to create forests, soils, clean waters,
clean energies, secure communities, stable regions, and to know how to do it from
hands-on experience"
"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even
if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is
enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the
very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and
shelter."
