This is the first of two workshops converting a lawn to a lush drought tolerant garden. During this workshop, we will carve beautiful curves into the land, creating rainwater harvesting basins and swales. During the second workshop, we will plant, plant, plant.

Come be a part of something bigger-- shape the earth to harvest water to feed native and drought tolerant plants in this foothill home.   By capturing that water where it falls, the homeowners can use it to nurture onsite plants instead of allowing it to run across the urban environment, picking up non-point source pollutants and dumping them into our streams and the ocean.

Join us on Saturday, May 10 from 8:30am-1:30pm to play with the earth and imagine the rain into it.
