The Open Alternative School Healthy Lunch Garden will be hosting an all day, 9am-4pm, garden workshop led by Bill Palmisano. 

Attendees will learn about working with soil microbes (the soil food web) to achieve better results while improving their soil. T

hey can get their hands dirty learning and practicing thermophillic (hot) pile composting. 

An innovative, simple to use continuous flow worm composting design for food waste is also part of the agenda. 

Frameless raised bed gardening will also be explained and demonstrated. 

Last but not least, Bill will share tips for those who want to trap gophers more effectively.
