In case you missed it...

Over the last two weeks I published a four part

4 – Soils, MMarketing, Energy (b035)

Darren defines the platform as...

"the basis of work flow & decision-making for all
of Regrarians Ltd. work in designing, developing
& training in the field of Regenerative
Agriculture & Living. The Regrarians Platform is
based on the ‘Keyline Scale of Permanence’
developed by the late, great Australian
agricultural designer, P.A. Yeomans as outlined
in his 1958 classic, ‘The Challenge of Landscape’.

The big evolution in the Regrarians Platform over
Yeomans’ Keyline Scale of Permanence is its
inclusion of social & economic themes, whereas
Yeomans scale was very much centred on
agriculture. The Regrarians Platform also has
changes in some of the headings and adds 9.
Economy & 10. Energy to Yeomans original eight headings."

The Regrarians Platform
1. Climate
2. Geography
3. Water
4. Access
5. Forestry
6. Buildings
7. Fences
8. Soils
9. Economy
10. Energy

If you aren't familiar with the platform, or
Darren, then these four episodes will give you a
nice introduction to the platform and the thought
process behind it - it's brilliant.

I think that the platform itself will
revolutionize the way that a lot of design is
done within this sector, and this methodology
will fill a much needed void. Because the
platform takes all of the information that is out
there within various systems (permaculture,
keyline, holistic management, etc.) and
consolidates and organizes it into a decision
making framework that anyone can follow. It's
the framework here that is key, compared to say
permaculture itself, which lacks an exact process that can be followed.

Darren is also in the process of writing a
handbook on the platform, and hopefully the book
will be out in time and available at PV3 in March.

Darren's an absolute wealth of knowledge, have
been involved in the design and development of
nearly 2000, mostly broadacre projects across 5
continents in close to 50 countries, ranging from
1 million hectare cattle stations to family farms.

Over the past twenty years Darren has traveled
the world, seen a ton of sites, and interacted
with farmers and landowners of all make-ups. He
understands design, different climates, and working with clients.

And that's why I asked him to speak at
<http://permaculturevoices.us4.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=a57841e3f724f29382a368209&id=437ee70416&e=9abef88a80>PV3.

At PV3 he will be three in depth talks on land
and farm design, and the design business.

These talks won’t be shallow and brief.

Each of those talks are 3 hour talks. So if you
go attend PV3 and want to learn from Darren you
will get a lot of opportunity to learn from him,
and dig deep over the course of 9 hours.

The long form content is one thing that I changed
with PV3. Trading one hour talks for longer more
in depth three hour ones. All of the talks will
still focus on high level content with real
world, practical and applicable tips and
methodologies that you can take home and put into action.

If you are looking to begin a change in your
life, whether major or minor, and you want to
take on regenerative agriculture for a career,
and then come on out to PV3 and learn from
designers like Darren who are leaders in their field.

Darren has two decades of experience and has worked on 2000 design jobs.

Think about that.

How much does he know that you could benefit from?

Save yourself a lot of time and headache and learn from his experience.

The first two waves of tickets for PV3 are done,
and the third wave of PV3 tickets are on sale now.

Take advantage before this wave closes
out.

Are there more specific topics mentioned within
these episodes that you would like to hear more about?

Let me know. I read every email.
