[Southern California Permaculture] Saturday = Crop Swap + Potluck + Summer Pruning workshop

This Saturday, August 4th is our monthly crop swap and potluck – including a round-table discussion on summer pruning for fruit trees (see flyer below). Don’t forget that this is also an opportunity to bring additional surplus produce for Backyard Bounty to collect for the Food Bank. 

We’ll be there from 9am onwards trying to clear some of the huge new pile of wood chips out of the entranceway so that everyone can get into the garden!!

There should also be more ripe fruit ready to pick for the Food Bank. 

 

Garden Calendar:

Saturdays     – Volunteer work-party {9am-12noon}

August 4       – Crop Swap: Garden Exchange & Potluck {12am-1pm} 

                     – TIPS ON SUMMER PRUNING YOUR FRUIT TREES AND SHRUBS! {FREE: starts @ 10:30am}

October 6      – Plant Sale Fundraiser {10am-12noon}
