Do join us at Mesa Harmony Garden this Saturday morning August 3rd for our annual workshop on summer fruit tree pruning. Starting at 10am, Larry Saltzman will bring us up-to-date with the latest thinking on summer pruning in Mediterranean climates. We’ll then split up into teams and get practical, hands-on experience in pruning. Each team will be led by an experienced pruner, and will focus on specific tree-types – so you can choose which kind of tree(s) you want to work on, and the trees get pruned!

If you have clippers, make sure they’re nice and sharp and bring them with you.

The doors open at 9am for our normal Saturday volunteer activities, the workshop starts at 10am and finishes around noon for a potluck lunch. If you have any surplus produce, bring it along for a crop swap.
