Sustainable Vocations (www.sustainablevocations.org/home/programs) is
a pioneering program for young people (ages 15 24) that integrates
permaculture, leadership, nature awareness and community regeneration,
while simultaneously providing green vocational inspiration and
preparation. In the process, students earn an internationally
recognized Permaculture Design Certification and graduate with the
practical skills to enhance their employment opportunities and life
path.

This Summer 2012 offering is particularly exciting, as pioneers of the
sustainability movement have joined our staff as teachers and
mentors.Brad Lancaster(www.harvestingrainwater.com), one of the worlds
foremost experts on water harvesting,Owen Dell (www.owendell.com), an
award-winning and internationally respected landscape architect,
andSasha Rabin(www.verticalclay.com), natural building instructor and
founder of Vertical Clay natural building company, will provide an
additional program layer and complement an already dynamic teaching
team. Lead instructor, Warren Brush, co-founder of Quail Springs
Permaculture and True Nature Design, will provide the curriculum for
the permaculture design certification (www.quailsprings.org
andwww.permaculturedesign.us).
